Spectators: 7961 (Terracing: 5972, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) When Mihai Paulică fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ostroveni's protests and gave Mihai Paulică a yellow card for diving instead. Mihai Paulică hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. FC Ostroveni's Luca Buricea got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Pricop came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by REPUBLICII -MM-'s Albert Gherdan. But to his dismay, Albert Gherdan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eric Pricop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Curteanu in the 17th minute of the match. Eric Pricop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Gherdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loukas Chatzipetrou charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Loukas Chatzipetrou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Loukas Chatzipetrou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Leontin Curteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Pricop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Sebastian Jilăveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Pricop didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leontin Curteanu went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Luca Buricea sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute FC Ostroveni were awarded a corner. Luca Buricea went to the cornerflag to take it. Loukas Chatzipetrou lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Loukas Chatzipetrou kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Eric Pricop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Gherdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luca Buricea was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the REPUBLICII -MM- defense, Ilie Enceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. The REPUBLICII -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem should have stopped the shot. The supporters of REPUBLICII -MM- booed when FC Ostroveni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Şteţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, REPUBLICII -MM-'s Eugen Cândreanu got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sebastian Jilăveanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Eric Pricop made a huge save. Ilie Enceanu struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ostroveni. The supporters of REPUBLICII -MM- booed when FC Ostroveni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Şteţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Luca Buricea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ostroveni's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Buricea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Ilie Enceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. FC Ostroveni's Eric Pricop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ostroveni from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Enceanu in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, FC Ostroveni's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Cândreanu came free, but Eric Pricop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Ostroveni were furious when Adrian Hanganu was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Sergiu Stegaru shot the penalty kick right outside the post. FC Ostroveni's Eric Pricop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ostroveni from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
