The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Trpimir Čaplar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Chimia Buzau from getting a goal against them. Trpimir Čaplar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihnea Goșa in the 11th minute. In the 18th match minute, -BZF- Chimia Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Tapalagă to maneuver through the defense. Trpimir Čaplar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Mihoc in the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Aluculesei came free, but Trpimir Čaplar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bichigiu's Edgar Ciuvică played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodim Baștină in the 27th minute of play. Pompiliu Ghișerel kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Chimia Buzau's zone, Damian Aluculesei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trpimir Čaplar came out of the goal and Damian Aluculesei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Aluculesei struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Trpimir Čaplar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bichigiu. With an all-out effort, Bichigiu's Trpimir Čaplar threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damian Aluculesei, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Trpimir Čaplar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Aluculesei went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Daniel Olteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marian Gorunescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Filip Macovei charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Macovei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Filip Macovei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Nicodim Baștină in the 54th minute really tested Edgar Ciuvică's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dorel Dumitrana hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Bichigiu's Daniel Olteanu in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Olteanu in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trpimir Čaplar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the game, Mihnea Goșa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Trpimir Čaplar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Damian Aluculesei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trpimir Čaplar was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Daniel Olteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Olteanu came free, but Trpimir Čaplar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Damian Aluculesei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bichigiu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Aluculesei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorel Dumitrana hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Damian Aluculesei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihnea Goșa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
