Spectators: 7952 (Terracing: 5965, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 158) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leontin Curteanu made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Sergiu Stegaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 3 played minutes, Real Blue's Mugur Hurmuzescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Blue reached it. In the 7th minute, Leontin Curteanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugen Cândreanu in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Greavu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mugur Hurmuzescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, REPUBLICII -MM-'s Cristian Paveliuc got a free kick in the 17th minute. Leontin Curteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Hurmuzescu in the 27th minute of play forced REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalkeeper Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Hurmuzescu in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, REPUBLICII -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Cândreanu to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Blue's Ovidiu Mălin. But to his dismay, Ovidiu Mălin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 37 played minutes REPUBLICII -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Jilăveanu. 40 minutes into the game, one of REPUBLICII -MM-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half Real Blue were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mugur Hurmuzescu to make the kick off. When Sebastian Jilăveanu came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the REPUBLICII -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Jilăveanu couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute, Sebastian Jilăveanu made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Greavu. Real Blue's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ivan Greavu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Gherdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Blue's Ivan Greavu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Stegaru in the 67th minute of play. When Sebastian Jilăveanu fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REPUBLICII -MM-'s protests and gave Sebastian Jilăveanu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, REPUBLICII -MM-'s Sebastian Jilăveanu got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 73rd match minute, REPUBLICII -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Stegaru to maneuver through the defense. Mugur Hurmuzescu struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Blue. In the 78th minute, Loukas Chatzipetrou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REPUBLICII -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mugur Hurmuzescu in the 83rd minute. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem stood somewhat misplaced when Mugur Hurmuzescu came free in front of goal and shot 3-3 to the left of him in the 84 minute. With a little luck, REPUBLICII -MM-'s Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem got control of the ball when Mugur Hurmuzescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albert Gherdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Greavu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Gherdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
