In the 13th minute, REPUBLICII -MM-'s Eugen Cândreanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. FC Ostroveni's Aurelian Agudaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Curteanu in the 23rd minute of play. Albert Gherdan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Agudaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Albert Gherdan took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Aurelian Agudaru to make any attempt to save it. Albert Gherdan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelian Agudaru came out and tried to block the shot, but Albert Gherdan slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leontin Curteanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Leontin Curteanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REPUBLICII -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Ilie Enceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. FC Ostroveni's Aurelian Agudaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Ulici in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes FC Ostroveni got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Şteţ. A collision led to FC Ostroveni getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ilie Enceanu hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Eugen Cândreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelian Agudaru came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by REPUBLICII -MM-'s Leontin Curteanu. But to his dismay, Leontin Curteanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 72 minutes into the game, Albert Gherdan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Aurelian Agudaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aurelian Agudaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leontin Curteanu went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. When Vasile Andriescu fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REPUBLICII -MM-'s protests and gave Vasile Andriescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, REPUBLICII -MM-'s Vasile Andriescu got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Leontin Curteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurelian Agudaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Gherdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Corneliu Ulici cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Aurelian Agudaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Ostroveni's Aurelian Agudaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukas Chatzipetrou in the 92nd minute of play. Aurelian Agudaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Cândreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Eugen Cândreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelian Agudaru. FC Ostroveni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugen Cândreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. There was no doubt that REPUBLICII -MM- were the better team. REPUBLICII -MM-'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
