Maxim Comăneci hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Purcaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Olimpiu Vernescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 30th minute, Horia Muscă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Arghir in the 32nd minute of play forced REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalkeeper Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match DAMUCUL P-NEAMT got a corner. REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivan Bourceanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Cristian Nistorescu drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalkeeper. In the 40th match minute, DAMUCUL P-NEAMT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Comăneci to maneuver through the defense. Albert Gherdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Vlad Buhoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Purcaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DAMUCUL P-NEAMT's Vlad Buhoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Curteanu in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Leontin Curteanu made the kick off in the second half. Olimpiu Vernescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olimpiu Vernescu ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, DAMUCUL P-NEAMT's Horaţiu Purcaru got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in REPUBLICII -MM-'s zone, Olimpiu Vernescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem came out of the goal and Olimpiu Vernescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Leontin Curteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REPUBLICII -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Leontin Curteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the REPUBLICII -MM- defense, Horaţiu Purcaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. The REPUBLICII -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, DAMUCUL P-NEAMT's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Curteanu came free, but Vlad Buhoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Horaţiu Purcaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olimpiu Vernescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem having to make a save. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Horaţiu Purcaru sent off a good shot on target. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Horaţiu Purcaru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horaţiu Purcaru really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The REPUBLICII -MM- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching DAMUCUL P-NEAMT's performance. The match ended with a win for DAMUCUL P-NEAMT.
