Spectators: 8008 (Terracing: 6008, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Halinga's Iurie Bucataru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Petruț Sângeorzan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CBF Csikszereda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petruț Sângeorzan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 8 minutes on the clock, Nechifor Encica commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Halinga! 14 minutes into the match, Halinga's goalkeeper Zeus Phoenix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petruț Sângeorzan. If Remus Lupșe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliodor Brezeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Zeus Phoenix made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Petruț Sângeorzan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeus Phoenix was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. When CBF Csikszereda's Petruț Sângeorzan in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Halinga's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Burileanu during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Halinga getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dan Burileanu hit a great ball. Petruț Sângeorzan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeus Phoenix stood somewhat misplaced when Petruț Sângeorzan came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 30 minute. Denis Constantiniu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shekwodiza Opeyemi kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petruț Sângeorzan got free with Zeus Phoenix in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petruț Sângeorzan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Zeus Phoenix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petruț Sângeorzan to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Petruț Sângeorzan put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zeus Phoenix. In the 55th minute, Petruț Sângeorzan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeus Phoenix was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petruț Sângeorzan in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeus Phoenix saved Halinga from getting behind. Zeus Phoenix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petruț Sângeorzan's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Denis Constantiniu could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Corneliu Giurgiu however easily saved by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Halinga's Shekwodiza Opeyemi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corneliu Giurgiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute of the match Halinga got a corner. CBF Csikszereda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iurie Bucataru ran over to the corner to take the kick. CBF Csikszereda's Corneliu Giurgiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save CBF Csikszereda from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the game, Shekwodiza Opeyemi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Corneliu Giurgiu. Shekwodiza Opeyemi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-1. With a little luck, CBF Csikszereda's Corneliu Giurgiu got control of the ball when Denis Constantiniu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petruț Sângeorzan in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeus Phoenix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the game, CBF Csikszereda's Remus Lupșe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeus Phoenix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Constantiniu got free with Corneliu Giurgiu in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeus Phoenix came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by CBF Csikszereda's Petruț Sângeorzan. But to his dismay, Petruț Sângeorzan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1.
