Xu Yao Feng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elemér Udvarhelyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Silviu Tobă charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silviu Tobă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Timbau CSM getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Silviu Tobă hit a great ball. Prevaleni CS-BTF's Dumitru Isbășoiu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tudor Balțoi but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nechifor Ispas during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xu Yao Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elemér Udvarhelyi in the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Nae Miniș could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Tudor Balțoi however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 19 minutes, Ralph Featherson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prevaleni CS-BTF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralph Featherson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Elemér Udvarhelyi sped through Prevaleni CS-BTF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xu Yao Feng. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Tudor Balțoi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Prevaleni CS-BTF booed when Timbau CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duddu Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Prevaleni CS-BTF's Adrian Enegren in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timbau CSM's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute Adrian Enegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tudor Balțoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Silviu Tobă was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. In the 41st match minute, Timbau CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviu Tobă to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Prevaleni CS-BTF's zone, Cristi Ionășescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xu Yao Feng came out of the goal and Cristi Ionășescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristi Ionășescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Adrian Enegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tudor Balțoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tudor Balțoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Enegren in the 52nd minute of play. Tudor Balțoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Orland in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Timbau CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duddu Doro to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Cristi Ionășescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xu Yao Feng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Featherson in the 61st minute of play forced Timbau CSM's goalkeeper Tudor Balțoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristi Ionășescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Balțoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantino Orland went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Timbau CSM's Xu Yao Feng threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristi Ionășescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nae Miniș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tudor Balțoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Cristi Ionășescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xu Yao Feng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Enegren in the 85th minute of play forced Timbau CSM's goalkeeper Tudor Balțoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xu Yao Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Ionășescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, one of Timbau CSM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Timbau CSM. 2-1 came in the 94th minute when Dumitru Isbășoiu all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Tudor Balțoi. Tudor Balțoi came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Prevaleni CS-BTF's Nae Miniș. But to his dismay, Nae Miniș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
