The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionel Marchiș was the one to do the kick off. Cocoloco's Bedih Hatırlı was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Șerban Ştercă in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frédson Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Ştercă having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Frédson Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cocoloco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frédson Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Șerban Ştercă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Dănciulescu in the 84th minute of play. Frédson Arantes took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Șerban Ştercă. Șerban Ştercă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 90 minutes into the game, Ionel Marchiș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berliste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cocoloco the free kick. The supporters of Cocoloco booed when Berliste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Marchiș didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Ionel Dănciulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cocoloco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionel Dănciulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berliste's Șerban Ştercă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Arantes in the 96th minute of play. After some careless play in the Berliste defense, Ionel Dănciulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Șerban Ştercă. The Berliste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Șerban Ştercă should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cocoloco had played much better football throughout.
