With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xu Yao Feng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gigel Șeimeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Miniș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prevaleni CS-BTF were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after FC CETATE DEVA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dumitru Isbășoiu took the corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nae Miniș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Adrian Enegren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gigel Șeimeanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Prevaleni CS-BTF booed when FC CETATE DEVA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaj Bogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dumitru Isbășoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st match minute, FC CETATE DEVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Măgură to maneuver through the defense. Xu Yao Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Grecescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Prevaleni CS-BTF's Călin Voina got a free kick in the 75th minute. Prevaleni CS-BTF's Xu Yao Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Grecescu in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Ernest Grecescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 90th minute Adrian Enegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Șeimeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Șeimeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Enegren went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Nae Miniș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prevaleni CS-BTF's supporters rose to their feet, but Nae Miniș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Șeimeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernest Grecescu scored 2-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xu Yao Feng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Prevaleni CS-BTF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
