CBF Csikszereda's Remus Lupșe got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Liviu Murgan put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Cocoloco:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CBF Csikszereda:s goal. Dinu Taşcău had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Eliodor Brezeanu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ionel Dănciulescu struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Corneliu Giurgiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cocoloco.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ionel Dănciulescu to strike the kick off in the second half.
