If Dorin Onuț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Strambeni's Einer Glidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Strambeni from getting a goal against them. After 11 played minutes C.s.s. Zalau got a freekick which was hit by Emil Bogatu. José Carlos Pombal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emre Karakushev went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Strambeni's Einer Glidal got control of the ball when Costin Cotuțiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 minutes, Emanuel Roşoga made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. C.s.s. Zalau's José Carlos Pombal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dorin Onuț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Carlos Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorin Onuț, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Iulian Taşcău could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Einer Glidal made a huge save. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.s.s. Zalau's goalkeeper José Carlos Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 minutes of play, Strambeni's Emre Karakushev made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Carlos Pombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.s.s. Zalau's José Carlos Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Roşoga in the 36th minute of play. Emanuel Roşoga took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Carlos Pombal. José Carlos Pombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 48 minutes into the game, Strambeni's Emanuel Roşoga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Carlos Pombal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The C.s.s. Zalau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Strambeni were winning 0-6.

With a little luck, C.s.s. Zalau's José Carlos Pombal got control of the ball when Emanuel Roşoga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicu Protase hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, C.s.s. Zalau's Sandu Moisescu got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Dorin Onuț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Roşoga in the 64th minute of the match. Emre Karakushev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but José Carlos Pombal made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Buta in the 67th minute of play forced C.s.s. Zalau's goalkeeper José Carlos Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Strambeni's Emanuel Roşoga in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.s.s. Zalau's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in C.s.s. Zalau's zone, Emre Karakushev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When Filip Horhoianu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.s.s. Zalau's protests and gave Filip Horhoianu a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes C.s.s. Zalau got a freekick which was hit by Filip Horhoianu. José Carlos Pombal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Roşoga in the 79th minute. In the 79th minute, Strambeni's Emanuel Roşoga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. After 84 played minutes C.s.s. Zalau got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Moisescu. In the 86th minute, Emanuel Roşoga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Carlos Pombal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. José Carlos Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emre Karakushev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Carlos Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Onuț in the 99th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Strambeni left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.s.s. Zalau.
