Spectators: 7953 (Terracing: 5966, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 158) After a rather tough play, Rapid Dobroesti's Mihnea Gligan got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Horea Haidău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Ticulescu in the 5th minute of play. Horea Haidău came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid Dobroesti's Petruț Ticulescu. But to his dismay, Petruț Ticulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute Valeriu Maniu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rednic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gavril Mihăescu hit a great ball. Horea Haidău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Gligan in the 15th minute of the match. Valeriu Maniu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. David Rednic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zhang Yong Xiao took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horea Haidău. Horea Haidău dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Horea Haidău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petruț Ticulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes of play, Rapid Dobroesti's Petruț Ticulescu made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horea Haidău was left in no man's land by his defense there! The FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rapid Dobroesti were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valeriu Maniu to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Iordache Siadbei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horea Haidău came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid Dobroesti's Zhang Yong Xiao. But to his dismay, Zhang Yong Xiao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 58 played minutes Rapid Dobroesti got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Munteanu. Horea Haidău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Ticulescu in the 60th minute of play. Zhang Yong Xiao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iordache Siadbei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horaţiu Munteanu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Horea Haidău 72 minutes into the match. Petruț Ticulescu kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 75thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s keeper Horea Haidău was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Horaţiu Munteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Horea Haidău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes in the game, Horaţiu Munteanu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Horea Haidău having to interfere. Horea Haidău stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horaţiu Munteanu's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Horaţiu Munteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Horea Haidău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rapid Dobroesti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
