FCSB's Ferdinand Brăescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Robbie Newby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Brăescu. FCSB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robbie Newby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some careless play in the FCSB defense, Codrin Jitaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Brăescu. The FCSB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Brăescu should have stopped the shot. Ferdinand Brăescu came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Alcos Pascani FC's Cazimir Cantemir. But to his dismay, Cazimir Cantemir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Cazimir Cantemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Brăescu having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Plăcintă dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferdinand Brăescu, 6-0. In the 31st minute of the game, Arash Yazdani landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 31 minutes into the game, Virgil Zamfirescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FCSB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcos Pascani FC the free kick. Alcos Pascani FC's Sever Tănăsocă was substituted for Arash Yazdani. The supporters of Alcos Pascani FC booed when FCSB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Zamfirescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Egbert Ter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Brăescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, FCSB's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Jitaru came free, but Ferdinand Brăescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Brăescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Newby, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes FCSB got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Barbăroșie. In the 40th minute Alcos Pascani FC were awarded a corner. Egbert Ter went to the cornerflag to take it. FCSB's Ferdinand Brăescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save FCSB from getting a goal against them. Ferdinand Brăescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Cantemir in the 43rd minute of play. Alcos Pascani FC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after FCSB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Egbert Ter took the corner. Egbert Ter made a great header on Alcos Pascani FC's corner, it was just that FCSB's Ferdinand Brăescu managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciprian Burtea was the one to do the kick off. When Sever Tănăsocă fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcos Pascani FC's protests and gave Sever Tănăsocă a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alcos Pascani FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Sever Tănăsocă hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Sever Tănăsocă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Brăescu. FCSB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sever Tănăsocă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 58th minute Robbie Newby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Brăescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Cantemir in the 59th minute of play forced FCSB's goalkeeper Ferdinand Brăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Jitaru in the 70th minute of play forced FCSB's goalkeeper Ferdinand Brăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Brăescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, FCSB's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Jitaru came free, but Ferdinand Brăescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FCSB getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cristi Vulpe hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Jitaru in the 81st minute of play forced FCSB's goalkeeper Ferdinand Brăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FCSB's Ferdinand Brăescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Jitaru in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Alcos Pascani FC's Codrin Jitaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Brăescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. In the 86th minute, Ciprian Burtea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Cazimir Cantemir notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of FCSB's Ferdinand Brăescu. Ferdinand Brăescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horea Pogea hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, Cazimir Cantemir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0.
