Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6001, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s Valeriu Maniu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Paris Saint-Germain getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. George Rareș hit a great ball. If Viriato lacerda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Viriato lacerda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horea Haidău was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Paris Saint-Germain getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. George Rareș hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Valeriu Maniu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paris Saint-Germain the free kick. Valeriu Maniu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Valeriu Enache blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horea Haidău having to make a save. George Rareș scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horea Haidău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Viriato lacerda came free, but Horea Haidău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horea Haidău came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Paris Saint-Germain's George Rareș. But to his dismay, George Rareș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Horea Haidău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Enache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horea Haidău came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paris Saint-Germain's George Rareș. But to his dismay, George Rareș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. George Rareș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Valeriu Enache notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s Horea Haidău. Horea Haidău was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, George Rareș made a precise shot to the right of Horea Haidău. FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Sergiu Sălcudeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Horea Haidău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Enache in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Viriato lacerda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horea Haidău was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato lacerda to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato lacerda in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Horea Haidău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horea Haidău made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Valeriu Enache sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute, Iordache Siadbei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Valeriu Enache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horea Haidău. FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valeriu Enache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Viriato lacerda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horea Haidău. That made the score 0-10 in the 62 minute of play. In the 66th minute, George Rareș reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Horea Haidău. The goal made the score 0-11. In the 69th minute Viriato lacerda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Haidău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Paris Saint-Germain's Viriato lacerda made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horea Haidău was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, George Rareș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valeriu Enache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Horea Haidău made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Viriato lacerda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horea Haidău. FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viriato lacerda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. 80 minutes into the match, Viriato lacerda notched a goal, 0-14, to the right of FC Univ. George Rareș might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horea Haidău. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Rareș ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- defense, George Rareș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horea Haidău. The FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horea Haidău should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Viriato lacerda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paris Saint-Germain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-16. In the 93rd minute, Viriato lacerda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horea Haidău was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-17. Paris Saint-Germain played a much better game than FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- and deserved their victory. The FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
