FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Codrin Jitaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Reinaldo Ramalho took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horea Haidău. Horea Haidău dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 10 minutes, Codrin Jitaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcos Pascani FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Codrin Jitaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Robbie Newby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Horea Haidău was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Codrin Jitaru made a precise shot to the right of Horea Haidău. FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 21 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horea Haidău. FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Alcos Pascani FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Codrin Jitaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Haidău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Newby in the 36th minute of play forced FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Horea Haidău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horea Haidău came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Alcos Pascani FC's Cazimir Cantemir. But to his dismay, Cazimir Cantemir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Cazimir Cantemir scored 0-9 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horea Haidău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Alcos Pascani FC's Reinaldo Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horea Haidău made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-10.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valeriu Maniu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horea Haidău. Horea Haidău didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcos Pascani FC. Horea Haidău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-16 when Cazimir Cantemir sped through FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horea Haidău. In the 80th minute, Alcos Pascani FC's Ovidiu Plăcintă ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Horea Haidău. Horea Haidău yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-17. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Reinaldo Ramalho took a quick shot and it went in 0-18 without a chance for Horea Haidău to make any attempt to save it. FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Cazimir Cantemir scored to the left of an out of position Horea Haidău, making the score, 0-19. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Codrin Jitaru put it in 0-20 from a short distance just to the right of Horea Haidău. Alcos Pascani FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
