The supporters of Decindeni AS booed when Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Ghionaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gláuber Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Onega in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Decindeni AS getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dacian Luican hit a great ball. Gláuber Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Lagiewniki, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Lagiewniki in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gláuber Camargo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dacian Luican fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Dincă having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Floreanu in the 39th minute of play forced Decindeni AS's goalkeeper Gláuber Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigore Moșanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gláuber Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gláuber Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Lagiewniki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nicu Birișu made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Lagiewniki got free with Gláuber Camargo in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sorin Floreanu in the 52nd minute. The corner led Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Sorin Floreanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Gláuber Camargo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Michal Lagiewniki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Gláuber Camargo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee showed Cristi Secoşan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
