Michal Lagiewniki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Virgil Barbălată when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sorin Floreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Virgil Barbălată made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Lagiewniki got free with Virgil Barbălată in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute of the match, Daniel Onega tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Virgil Barbălată saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 17th minute Grigore Moșanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Barbălată saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorin Floreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Virgil Barbălată made a huge save. Unirea Podu Iloaiei's Virgil Barbălată played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Moșanu in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Michal Lagiewniki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Virgil Barbălată was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Virgil Barbălată made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sorin Floreanu in the 26th minute. With an all-out effort, Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Virgil Barbălată threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Onega, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Unirea Podu Iloaiei defense, Michal Lagiewniki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgil Barbălată. The Unirea Podu Iloaiei fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgil Barbălată should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Sorin Floreanu could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Virgil Barbălată however easily saved by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Michal Lagiewniki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Virgil Barbălată made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Moșanu in the 37th minute of play. Virgil Barbălată showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Bussi in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Valer Lăzan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Unirea Podu Iloaiei's goalkeeper Virgil Barbălată had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michal Lagiewniki. In the 46th minute, Michal Lagiewniki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. Virgil Barbălată came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Michal Lagiewniki. But to his dismay, Michal Lagiewniki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 53 minutes into the match, Daniel Onega notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Unirea Podu Iloaiei's Virgil Barbălată. Virgil Barbălată was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute Daniel Onega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Barbălată saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Barbălată showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Lagiewniki, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Daniel Onega sped through Unirea Podu Iloaiei's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Virgil Barbălată. Unirea Podu Iloaiei's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michal Lagiewniki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 85th minute, Michal Lagiewniki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Dan Bosioc charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Bosioc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Unirea Podu Iloaiei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Bosioc to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute of the match Sorin Floreanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgil Barbălată showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Lagiewniki in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgil Barbălată prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgil Barbălată showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Lagiewniki, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Dan Bosioc hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
