The wind increased when Stelian Hortopan made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Black Diamond's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Bosioc came free, but Dick Vedholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unirea Podu Iloaiei were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Black Diamond's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dan Bosioc took the corner. Virgil Barbălată was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stelian Hortopan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 67 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Stelian Hortopan notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Unirea Podu Iloaiei's Virgil Barbălată. Virgil Barbălată was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Virgil Barbălată was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the game, Akın Turhan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Virgil Barbălată. Akın Turhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. Virgil Barbălată showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Hortopan in the 89th minute of the match. Stelian Hortopan took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgil Barbălată. Virgil Barbălată dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-17. With an all-out effort, Black Diamond's Virgil Barbălată threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stelian Hortopan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Unirea Podu Iloaiei's Virgil Barbălată proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Unirea Podu Iloaiei from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Black Diamond booed when Unirea Podu Iloaiei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Vulpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Unirea Podu Iloaiei fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Black Diamond were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
