Timo Thorstein took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valer Corduneanu. In the 25th minute, Timo Thorstein left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpathian Wolves fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Valer Corduneanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Thorstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Maxim Urderean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when Steaua Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Guriță didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valer Corduneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Trăistaru in the 34th minute of play. David Trăistaru charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Trăistaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maxim Urderean to strike the kick off in the second half. Maxim Urderean received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valer Corduneanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Maxim Urderean slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 52nd minute. Timo Thorstein took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valer Corduneanu. Valer Corduneanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-10. Maxim Urderean received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valer Corduneanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timo Thorstein went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-12 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Chelaru came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Timo Thorstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valer Corduneanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match, David Trăistaru got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valer Corduneanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. David Guriță was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Steaua Bucuresti getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. David Guriță hit a great ball.
