In the 9th minute Eduard Penescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kartal Oğuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of RAZVAN TEAM booed when FC VULTURII LUGOJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Trifu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otokar Princ got free with Kartal Oğuz in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Damon Grove fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RAZVAN TEAM's protests and gave Damon Grove a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC VULTURII LUGOJ booed when RAZVAN TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damon Grove didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Otokar Princ recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kartal Oğuz. Otokar Princ showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 18 played minutes FC VULTURII LUGOJ got a freekick which was hit by Adorján Kodály. 19 minutes into the match, FC VULTURII LUGOJ's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Grove came free, but Kartal Oğuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Penescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otokar Princ might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kartal Oğuz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otokar Princ ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to FC VULTURII LUGOJ getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Augustin Hurmuzescu hit a great ball. Kartal Oğuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick Oldham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's Kartal Oğuz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FC VULTURII LUGOJ from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the game, Jörn Hansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RAZVAN TEAM the free kick. The supporters of RAZVAN TEAM booed when FC VULTURII LUGOJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's Kartal Oğuz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC VULTURII LUGOJ from getting a goal against them. In the 31stth minute of the game Mauro Abraão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RAZVAN TEAM's Horia Codru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute Leontin Trifu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Codru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ding 孙坚 kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. A hard shot 38 in the game by Otokar Princ from a close distance when the talented Kartal Oğuz managed to make a qualified save. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Corrêa got free with Horia Codru in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kartal Oğuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Penescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otokar Princ in the 57th minute of play forced FC VULTURII LUGOJ's goalkeeper Kartal Oğuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kartal Oğuz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otokar Princ's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Rafael Corrêa came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Horia Codru could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Rafael Corrêa could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Horia Codru however easily saved by the left post. Horia Codru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Abraão in the 71st minute. Rafael Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's George Şneapotă was substituted for Costică Adam. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's Luis Figo was substituted for Rafael Corrêa. 76 minutes into the match, FC VULTURII LUGOJ's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Grove came free, but Kartal Oğuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damon Grove fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kartal Oğuz having to interfere. Kartal Oğuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otokar Princ in the 95th minute of the match. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
