Kartal Oğuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Mitrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Augustin Hurmuzescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionuț Huștiu. -BZF- Cele 11 Sarmale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Hurmuzescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ionuț Huștiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that David Mitrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kartal Oğuz was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Rafael Corrêa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ionuț Huștiu. The goal made the score 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Corrêa in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionuț Huștiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute Mauro Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Huștiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Corrêa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Ionuț Huștiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 28th minute, FC VULTURII LUGOJ's Augustin Hurmuzescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ionuț Huștiu. Ionuț Huștiu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Rafael Corrêa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ionuț Huștiu made a huge save. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Cele 11 Sarmale's Mugur Hârțan got a free kick in the 36th minute. With a little luck, -BZF- Cele 11 Sarmale's Ionuț Huștiu got control of the ball when Rafael Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, -BZF- Cele 11 Sarmale's goalkeeper Ionuț Huștiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Corrêa. In the 42nd minute, -BZF- Cele 11 Sarmale's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rafael Corrêa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ionuț Huștiu made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gong Guang Yao sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC VULTURII LUGOJ booed when -BZF- Cele 11 Sarmale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Apostol didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute Rafael Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Huștiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mauro Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionuț Huștiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC VULTURII LUGOJ booed when -BZF- Cele 11 Sarmale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Drâmba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67th play minutes Rafael Corrêa shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Ionuț Huștiu and just under the crossbar into goal. If Luis Figo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Hurmuzescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Mauro Abraão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC VULTURII LUGOJ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Cele 11 Sarmale's Teodor Drâmba got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ionuț Huștiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Mauro Abraão took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionuț Huștiu. Ionuț Huștiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Cele 11 Sarmale's zone, Luis Figo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionuț Huștiu came out of the goal and Luis Figo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that FC VULTURII LUGOJ were the better team. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
