Thanks to some nice moves Christian Vedillo could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Gláuber Camargo however easily saved by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Sidoro during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, FC. Stiinta Cluj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Codruț Encuțu was the one to do the kick off. Gláuber Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Mutu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Decindeni AS's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Mutu came free, but Gláuber Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Decindeni AS's Costin Musceleanu got a free kick in the 90th minute. Romeo Mutu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gláuber Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC. Stiinta Cluj's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
