After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Iustin Panaitoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSM ALEXANDRIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Panaitoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Onofrei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the game, Mihnea Harnagea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSM ALEXANDRIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ac.Calvagese.Husi the free kick. A collision led to CSM ALEXANDRIA getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mihnea Harnagea hit a great ball. Manuel Onete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ioan Arapașu went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Ioan Arapașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Onete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CSM ALEXANDRIA's Manuel Onete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Arapașu in the 36th minute of play. Cristian Onofrei was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Mihnea Harnagea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mihnea Harnagea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The supporters of Ac.Calvagese.Husi booed when CSM ALEXANDRIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Ielciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Cristinel Mușătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ac.Calvagese.Husi's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristinel Mușătescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Onete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucrețiu Dragotescu took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Onete. Manuel Onete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iustin Panaitoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Valer Ielciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Cristinel Mușătescu in the 51st minute of play was well struck, but Manuel Onete made a really good save at the right post. After 55 played minutes Dacian Bogrea rounded CSM ALEXANDRIA's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionel Magheru during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Arapașu in the 59th minute of play forced CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Manuel Onete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Dacian Bogrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Onete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Onete made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Cristinel Mușătescu sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Ac.Calvagese.Husi's Eliodor Pascu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Onete narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ioan Arapașu came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manuel Onete could save by the left post. Manuel Onete made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ioan Arapașu sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Onofrei came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by CSM ALEXANDRIA's Mihnea Harnagea. But to his dismay, Mihnea Harnagea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After 75 played minutes Ac.Calvagese.Husi got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Caba. Manuel Onete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ioan Arapașu went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. CSM ALEXANDRIA's Manuel Onete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save CSM ALEXANDRIA from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, CSM ALEXANDRIA's Manuel Onete got control of the ball when Cristinel Mușătescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Eliodor Pascu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Onete. Eliodor Pascu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. Manuel Onete was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristinel Mușătescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 91 minute of play.
