The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Lăcătușu in the 14th minute of play forced CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Airidas Brazauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes CSM ALEXANDRIA got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Mihuleac. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisc Drăgoi got free with 陶崇海 in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Virgil Panciu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 陶崇海 was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 32nd minute Anthony Giannotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Airidas Brazauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Mihăilă was the one to do the kick off. Francisc Drăgoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 陶崇海 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in A4p RAPID GUNNERS's zone, Francisc Drăgoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 陶崇海 came out of the goal and Francisc Drăgoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 陶崇海 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Mihuleac in the 55th minute of the match. Olimpiu Hortopan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, George Mihăilă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to CSM ALEXANDRIA getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Florin Paulică hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Airidas Brazauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthony Giannotti. Airidas Brazauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Mihăilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, CSM ALEXANDRIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisc Drăgoi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Drăgoi in the 87th minute of play forced A4p RAPID GUNNERS's goalkeeper 陶崇海 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Petru Lăcătușu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSM ALEXANDRIA's Airidas Brazauskas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of A4p RAPID GUNNERS booed when CSM ALEXANDRIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristide Ciompec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petru Lăcătușu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Airidas Brazauskas having to interfere.
