Resulting in a 1-0 score after 5 minutes. After 8 played minutes CSM ALEXANDRIA got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Hortopan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alin Chiru in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Airidas Brazauskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute FC Acatar were awarded a corner. Constantin Bâlea went to the cornerflag to take it. Constantin Bâlea made a great header on FC Acatar's corner, it was just that CSM ALEXANDRIA's Airidas Brazauskas managed to reach the ball for a save. After 20 played minutes FC Acatar got a freekick which was hit by Paul Taşcu. Airidas Brazauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phoenix Phoenix in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Airidas Brazauskas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aristide Ciompec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Grămescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, CSM ALEXANDRIA's goal looked a bit too open when Phoenix Phoenix came free, but Airidas Brazauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Alin Chiru made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Chiru in the 53rd minute of play forced CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Airidas Brazauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vlad Oardă fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Acatar's protests and gave Vlad Oardă a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Vlad Oardă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Airidas Brazauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Chiru in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Acatar booed when CSM ALEXANDRIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Gavra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CSM ALEXANDRIA's zone, Alin Chiru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Airidas Brazauskas came out of the goal and Alin Chiru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Airidas Brazauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phoenix Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CSM ALEXANDRIA getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Olimpiu Hortopan hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Alin Chiru made a precise shot to the right of Airidas Brazauskas. CSM ALEXANDRIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some careless play in the CSM ALEXANDRIA defense, Alin Chiru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Airidas Brazauskas. The CSM ALEXANDRIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Airidas Brazauskas should have stopped the shot. CSM ALEXANDRIA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
