Aristide Răduț was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Dragu in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristide Răduț saved FC TraLaLa from getting behind. Aristide Răduț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Gavruță in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Baicea came free, but Aristide Răduț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Võsandi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When FC Banat Steierdorf's Petrică Dragu in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC TraLaLa's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Banat Steierdorf's Dan Drâmba got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's Bogdan Gogea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Võsandi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Petrică Dragu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Răduț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosmin Stolojan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Arne Võsandi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leontin Medrea in the 33rd minute. In the 42ndth minute of the game Petrică Dragu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC TraLaLa's Aristide Răduț was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the FC TraLaLa defense, Petrică Dragu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristide Răduț. The FC TraLaLa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristide Răduț should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petrică Dragu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the game, Valeriu Gavruță landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Cosmin Stolojan's late challenge caught a FC Banat Steierdorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosmin Stolojan helped the player get up and apologised. FC Banat Steierdorf made a substitution. Narcis Pociu replaced Valeriu Gavruță. After 52 played minutes FC TraLaLa got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Stolojan. The FC Banat Steierdorf fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when FC Banat Steierdorf's Ferdinand Floroiu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, FC TraLaLa's Aurelian Marincean got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Emanuel Pârvan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristide Răduț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petrică Dragu in the 58th minute. Arne Võsandi came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC TraLaLa's Emanuel Pușcariu. But to his dismay, Emanuel Pușcariu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionuț Baicea got free with Aristide Răduț in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Floroiu came free, but Aristide Răduț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Aurelian Marincean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Petrică Dragu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 72 played minutes Narcis Pociu rounded FC TraLaLa's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. With an all-out effort, FC Banat Steierdorf's Aristide Răduț threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Narcis Pociu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 80th minute of the match, Ionuț Baicea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aristide Răduț saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aristide Răduț didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petrică Dragu went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Pușcariu in the 85th minute of play forced FC Banat Steierdorf's goalkeeper Arne Võsandi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristide Răduț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Floroiu in the 86th minute of the match. Arne Võsandi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Gogea, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Banat Steierdorf's Narcis Pociu got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Paul Romeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC TraLaLa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Banat Steierdorf the free kick. When Cosmin Stolojan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. The supporters of FC Banat Steierdorf booed when FC TraLaLa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Stolojan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes FC TraLaLa got a freekick which was hit by Sever Piţurcă. When the match was over FC Banat Steierdorf could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC TraLaLa throughout the match.
