After a rather tough play, Barbucea's Teodor Ene got a free kick in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barbucea's zone, Ingvar Bergström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Hrandabur came out of the goal and Ingvar Bergström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barbucea's Mihail Harhoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Aurelian Buzincu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Hrandabur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Zdrăilă hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ilie Ghiurutan struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ivan Hrandabur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MARIUS MARCOV. In the 42nd play minute Teodor Duțulescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ivan Hrandabur. 3-0. After 45 minutes, Teodor Duțulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARIUS MARCOV and the Barbucea players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Barbucea booed when MARIUS MARCOV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Duțulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emil Zub made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Aurelian Buzincu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Hrandabur. Barbucea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelian Buzincu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Aurelian Buzincu managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARIUS MARCOV's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelian Buzincu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Hrandabur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MARIUS MARCOV's Aurelian Buzincu got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of MARIUS MARCOV booed when Barbucea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Ene didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelian Buzincu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ivan Hrandabur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costică Tăcutu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of MARIUS MARCOV booed when Barbucea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Zdrăilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mihail Harhoiu fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barbucea's protests and gave Mihail Harhoiu a yellow card for diving instead. Mihail Harhoiu hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Barbucea's zone, Aurelian Buzincu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Hrandabur came out of the goal and Aurelian Buzincu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MARIUS MARCOV's Honorato Estebano got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Hrandabur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute, Teodor Duțulescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Hrandabur was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Aurelian Buzincu might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Hrandabur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelian Buzincu ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MARIUS MARCOV fully deserved thier win.
