Laurențiu Barbăneagră made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Gelu Ioniță sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Cioc SC's goalkeeper Laurențiu Barbăneagră had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gelu Ioniță. In the 23rd minute, Boguslaw Furgat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurențiu Barbăneagră was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sabin Mirciu during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cioc SC's Sabin Mirciu got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cioc SC's zone, Mehran Utandıbalayev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurențiu Barbăneagră came out of the goal and Mehran Utandıbalayev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Boguslaw Furgat made a precise shot to the right of Laurențiu Barbăneagră. Cioc SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Mehran Utandıbalayev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laurențiu Barbăneagră came out and tried to block the shot, but Mehran Utandıbalayev slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Rapid Bucharest's Gelu Ioniță nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurențiu Barbăneagră made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Cioc SC's Laurențiu Barbăneagră proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Cioc SC from getting a goal against them.

Laurențiu Barbăneagră made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Ioniță in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes Cioc SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Virgil Ţirpe who took care of the corner kick. Rapid Bucharest's Octav Cristea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Laurențiu Barbăneagră in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Gelu Ioniță put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Laurențiu Barbăneagră. In the 61st minute, Gelu Ioniță made a precise shot to the right of Laurențiu Barbăneagră. Cioc SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Laurențiu Barbăneagră breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferdinand Nasta kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Cioc SC's goal looked a bit too open when Mehran Utandıbalayev came free, but Laurențiu Barbăneagră reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurențiu Barbăneagră showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Ioniță, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Boguslaw Furgat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Cioc SC's Niculae Curuțiu got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute of the match Virgil Ţirpe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurențiu Barbăneagră skillfully saved the ball. In the 89th minute Rapid Bucharest were awarded a corner. Virgil Ţirpe went to the cornerflag to take it. After 91 minutes of play, Rapid Bucharest's Gelu Ioniță made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurențiu Barbăneagră was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Sabin Mirciu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. Sabin Mirciu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rapid Bucharest had played much better football throughout.
