The supporters of OTELUL GALATI booed when Haidarchioi AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Degryse didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haidarchioi AS's goalkeeper Iurie Drăghici, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Haidarchioi AS's Erivaldo Loyola managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Avram Spirache in the 15 minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Degryse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iurie Drăghici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Hidișan in the 53rd minute of play. Rafael Degryse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Efe Vafi having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Mitu couldn't finish the play. The referee ignored Haidarchioi AS's protests and gave Erivaldo Loyola a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Haidarchioi AS getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Angel Toribio hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The OTELUL GALATI fans cheered their team off the field, for while Haidarchioi AS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
