But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Horhoianu couldn't finish the play. In the 10th match minute, Tineretul Arad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Cruceru to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Horhoianu came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Panait Hațegan could save by the left post. Alcool F.C. TBC's Edgar Horhoianu got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antoni Makarewicz came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Tineretul Arad's Daniel Anton. But to his dismay, Daniel Anton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Panait Hațegan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A nice corner shot did that Edgar Horhoianu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Panait Hațegan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alcool F.C. TBC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Tineretul Arad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Horhoianu took the corner. The corner ended in Edgar Horhoianu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tineretul Arad's Panait Hațegan did a great save. In the 28th minute Leontin Vârșan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Makarewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tineretul Arad booed when Alcool F.C. TBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Pelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandu Dulfu made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 31stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Panait Hațegan would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 36 played minutes Alcool F.C. TBC's Sandu Dulfu stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Panait Hațegan stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Tineretul Arad of the goal. Antoni Makarewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leontin Vârșan went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Leontin Vârșan got free with Antoni Makarewicz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute Daniel Anton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Makarewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilian Blăniță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Panait Hațegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Horhoianu in the 63rd minute of play. Panait Hațegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Horhoianu in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Leontin Vârșan made a precise shot to the right of Antoni Makarewicz. Alcool F.C. TBC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Antoni Makarewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Blăniță, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Horhoianu during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Panait Hațegan came out of the goal and Felix Gheție tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antoni Makarewicz made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Leontin Vârșan sent off a good shot on target. Edgar Horhoianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vlad Toacsen's late challenge caught a Tineretul Arad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vlad Toacsen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Alcool F.C. TBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Toacsen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Alcool F.C. TBC's Sandu Dulfu got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
