Cristinel Bujor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costin Ignătoiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. When Isac Frunză fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC PunisherS™'s protests and gave Isac Frunză a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Isac Frunză hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Bujor in the 19th minute of play forced AFC PunisherS™'s goalkeeper Costin Ignătoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Zamfirescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of AFC PunisherS™ booed when Cosimo Deva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. The AFC PunisherS™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costin Ignătoiu should have stopped the shot. In the 79thth minute of the game Cristinel Bujor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC PunisherS™'s Costin Ignătoiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nae Malcoci charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nae Malcoci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute Andrei Pușcașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Ignătoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC PunisherS™'s Costin Ignătoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Pușcașu in the 86th minute of play. Andrei Pușcașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costin Ignătoiu having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, AFC PunisherS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Barbonța to maneuver through the defense.
