Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Cristinel Bujor made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Cosimo Deva's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Zanette came free, but Hugo Juhás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. OTELUL GALATI were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Cosimo Deva's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luis Galo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cătălin Hidișan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Juhás quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristinel Bujor scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Efe Vafi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. OTELUL GALATI's Mehmet Efe Vafi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Pușcașu in the 15th minute of play. Mehmet Efe Vafi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrei Pușcașu went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, OTELUL GALATI's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Pușcașu came free, but Mehmet Efe Vafi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind OTELUL GALATI's goalkeeper Mehmet Efe Vafi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Cosimo Deva were awarded a corner. Isac Arghirescu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Isac Arghirescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mehmet Efe Vafi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hugo Juhás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Mitu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Hugo Juhás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Zanette in the 28th minute of the match. Hugo Juhás didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Paulo Zanette went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Ionel Mitu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Pușcașu in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Efe Vafi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristinel Bujor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Mehmet Efe Vafi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ionel Mitu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Cătălin Hidișan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Juhás was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Zé Paulo Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Juhás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Zanette in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by OTELUL GALATI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isac Arghirescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Cosimo Deva's players had a chance to rest. Grigore Bîndean's late challenge caught a OTELUL GALATI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grigore Bîndean helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Juhás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Zanette in the 62nd minute of the match. Mehmet Efe Vafi made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Andrei Pușcașu sent off a good shot on target. After 66 minutes of play, OTELUL GALATI's Cătălin Hidișan made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Juhás was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st of the match, Cristinel Bujor tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Mehmet Efe Vafi got in the way and made a wonderful save. OTELUL GALATI's Mehmet Efe Vafi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Bujor in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Cosimo Deva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Pașcanu to maneuver through the defense. Zé Paulo Zanette struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Hugo Juhás didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OTELUL GALATI. Octavian Brânzaru kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Isac Arghirescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Efe Vafi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Pușcașu came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mehmet Efe Vafi could save by the left post. In the 87th minute, Zé Paulo Zanette made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Juhás. Cosimo Deva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Hugo Juhás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Păstrăv in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in OTELUL GALATI's zone, Andrei Pușcașu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Efe Vafi came out of the goal and Andrei Pușcașu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrei Pușcașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The OTELUL GALATI fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cosimo Deva had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
