The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Sabin Bugariu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriu Jucu got free with Cheng De Jing in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Ettore Milanese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erhan Değirmenci kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The long shot by Amedeo Palone in the 28th minute really tested Cheng De Jing's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cimpina AS's Esteve Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Barbosu in the 31st minute of play. Manuel Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Cheng De Jing made a huge save. When Sabin Bugariu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. In the 34th match minute, GoldDiam V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Bugariu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cimpina AS booed when GoldDiam V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Arnăutu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Cimpina AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Muntean to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes, GoldDiam V55's Erhan Değirmenci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteve Vidal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GoldDiam V55 reached it. Cheng De Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Gheorghiță in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Cheng De Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Gheorghiță in the 50th minute of play. When Ettore Milanese came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Cimpina AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Milanese couldn't finish the play. In the 52nd minute, Bernard Bockelund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cheng De Jing was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Gheorghiță in the 54th minute of play forced GoldDiam V55's goalkeeper Cheng De Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cheng De Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Marques in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Eliodor Barbosu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Barbosu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. GoldDiam V55's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodor Gheorghiță was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 수 van der Aa during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cheng De Jing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cimpina AS fully deserved thier win.
