Kayhan Erez made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Iulian Floruțiu sent off a good shot on target. Goanta FC's Kayhan Erez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Goanta FC from getting a goal against them. Octavian Podgoreanu's late challenge caught a Goanta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavian Podgoreanu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Goanta FC booed when F.C. Baia Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Podgoreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iulian Floruțiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goanta FC's goalkeeper Kayhan Erez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iulian Floruțiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Kayhan Erez made a huge save. Andrei Oargă took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zsigmond Pál. Zsigmond Pál dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Iulian Floruțiu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Kayhan Erez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 42nd minute, Valentin Miulescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kayhan Erez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 47 played minutes F.C. Baia Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Anton Baicea. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iulian Floruțiu to make the kick off. Kayhan Erez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Floruțiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vlad Enătescu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Horea Morozan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Pavel Dordea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Dordea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When F.C. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iulian Floruțiu in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kayhan Erez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kayhan Erez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Miulescu in the 76th minute of the match. When F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Valentin Miulescu, in the 76th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Baia Mare -MM-. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Iulian Floruțiu got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Goanta FC got a freekick which was hit by Horea Morozan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iulian Floruțiu in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kayhan Erez saved Goanta FC from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Goanta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Floruțiu came free, but Kayhan Erez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Vlad Enătescu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Horea Morozan, made in the 88th minute of the game. In the 90th match minute, Goanta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Morozan to maneuver through the defense. Kayhan Erez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Miulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes of play, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Iulian Floruțiu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kayhan Erez was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that F.C. Baia Mare -MM- were the better team. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
