Mihai Domuță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbert Benkó in the 32nd minute of the match. When Mei Yi Xi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Emanuel Enoiu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Armada's Emanuel Enoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Nichitelea in the 39th minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Róbert Benkó to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mei Yi Xi in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Enoiu saved Armada from getting behind. Mihai Domuță came out and tried to block the shot, but Filomeno Igon slotted it home off the left post making it 3-5 in the 75th minute. With a little luck, POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță got control of the ball when Róbert Benkó tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbert Benkó in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihai Domuță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ionică Hrandabur in the 81st minute. Armada's Ionică Hrandabur was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mihai Domuță in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mihai Domuță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Benkó in the 82nd minute of play. Armada's Emanuel Enoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mei Yi Xi in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Armada's Cristian Anastasiu got a free kick in the 84th minute. 88 minutes in the game Kristen Vebirk did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Adrian Mihăescu. Nicu Nichitelea made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Armada's Aras Başbuğ. Róbert Benkó might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihai Domuță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbert Benkó ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, POLI TIMISOARA's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Benkó came free, but Mihai Domuță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of POLI TIMISOARA booed when Armada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Hrandabur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armada's Emanuel Enoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Nichitelea in the 92nd minute of play. The POLI TIMISOARA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Armada's performance. The match ended with a win for Armada.
