Mugur Robescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Jurăscu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugur Robescu saved FC Falciu from getting behind. 22 minutes into the game, Aurelian Şelaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Narcis Manea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Șerban Ozon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Narcis Manea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugur Robescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Jurăscu in the 27th minute of play. In the 34th minute Denis Dănălache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Manea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colorado Avalanche's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Șerban Ozon was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Falciu's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Falciu's Șerban Ozon to fire away a dangerous shot which Narcis Manea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stein-Roger Hofseth in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcis Manea saved Colorado Avalanche from getting behind. Narcis Manea made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Stein-Roger Hofseth sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the game, Stein-Roger Hofseth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Falciu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colorado Avalanche the free kick.

Bogdan Jurăscu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mugur Robescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bogdan Jurăscu came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mugur Robescu could save by the left post. Aurelian Şelaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, FC Falciu's Mugur Robescu got control of the ball when Bogdan Jurăscu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Crawford Hanslow charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Crawford Hanslow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 73 minutes into the match, FC Falciu's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Cosor came free, but Mugur Robescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Bogdan Jurăscu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Falciu's Mugur Robescu. Mugur Robescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mugur Robescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Jurăscu in the 80th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Șerban Ozon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Falciu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Șerban Ozon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Falciu getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Genaro Arnas hit a great ball.
