In the 4th minute Vit Doro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Oroveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vit Doro in the 8th minute of play forced Barsa AFC's goalkeeper Ştefan Oroveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Bogdan Jurăscu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ştefan Oroveanu to make any attempt to save it. 13 minutes into the match, Barsa AFC's goalkeeper Ştefan Oroveanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Jurăscu. Vit Doro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ştefan Oroveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Cosor in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Barsa AFC's Ştefan Oroveanu got control of the ball when Bogdan Jurăscu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barsa AFC's Nicu Banu got a free kick in the 20th minute. With his leg Ştefan Oroveanu managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Colorado Avalanche's Bogdan Jurăscu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard Tătaru got free with Ştefan Oroveanu in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Barsa AFC's Ştefan Oroveanu got control of the ball when Bogdan Jurăscu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bogdan Jurăscu came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ştefan Oroveanu could save by the left post. The supporters of Colorado Avalanche booed when Barsa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Erbașu didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Colorado Avalanche's Dacian Cosor in action when he in the 30th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Bogdan Jurăscu took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ştefan Oroveanu. Ştefan Oroveanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 36th match minute, Barsa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Dărăscu to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Barsa AFC's Ştefan Oroveanu got control of the ball when Bogdan Jurăscu tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Colorado Avalanche's Ştefan Oroveanu threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vit Doro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicu Banu to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Bogdan Jurăscu put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ştefan Oroveanu. 57 minutes into the game, Colorado Avalanche's Vit Doro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ştefan Oroveanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 60 played minutes Barsa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Chinezu. 62 minutes into the match, Bogdan Jurăscu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ştefan Oroveanu. Barsa AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogdan Jurăscu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When Sergiu Şunda came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Colorado Avalanche fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergiu Şunda couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Cristinel Dobrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Jurăscu scored 7-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ştefan Oroveanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Barsa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vit Doro came free, but Ştefan Oroveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ştefan Oroveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Jurăscu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ştefan Oroveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Jurăscu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Barsa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Jurăscu came free, but Ştefan Oroveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barsa AFC's Ştefan Oroveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Jurăscu in the 82nd minute of play. Ştefan Oroveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Cosor in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Colorado Avalanche's Vit Doro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ştefan Oroveanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After a defensive mix-up in Barsa AFC's zone, Dacian Cosor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ştefan Oroveanu came out of the goal and Dacian Cosor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Barsa AFC's Gheorghe Erbașu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gheorghe Erbașu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barsa AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gheorghe Erbașu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 93 minutes into the game, one of Barsa AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Colorado Avalanche. Vit Doro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ştefan Oroveanu. 9-0. Colorado Avalanche's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
