FC Falciu's Mugur Robescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Buculeasa in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mei Yi Xi in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mugur Robescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filip Buculeasa was slow to take the kick. During this time POLI TIMISOARA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led POLI TIMISOARA's Manole Pătrașcu to fire away a dangerous shot which Mugur Robescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Jarbas Prestes scored 0-7 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mugur Robescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarbas Prestes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Mugur Robescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. POLI TIMISOARA played a much better game than FC Falciu and deserved their victory. The FC Falciu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
