After a defensive mix-up in CF Padureni's zone, Bogdan Jurăscu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sever Erbașu came out of the goal and Bogdan Jurăscu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Bogdan Jurăscu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sever Erbașu. Sever Erbașu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vit Doro's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 33 minutes, Mihai Cigu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrei Rebengiuc was the one to do the kick off.
