Vasile Acalinei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Felix Eremia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Pintea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Scornicesti's Cristian Moisil got control of the ball when Mihai Zgondea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damian Pânzariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Moisil having to interfere. Paul Pintea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Eremia, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Scornicesti's Felix Eremia got a free kick in the 29th minute. Cristian Moisil didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 34 played minutes FC Universitatea Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Ailenei. In the 36th minute, Mihai Zgondea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Pânzariu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Pânzariu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cristian Moisil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cristian Moisil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Ailenei went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Anton Ciungu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Moisil came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Universitatea Craiova's Luca Ianculescu. But to his dismay, Luca Ianculescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 82ndth minute of the game Luca Ianculescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scornicesti's Cristian Moisil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Moisil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Ailenei, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute Damian Pânzariu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Moisil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Ciungu charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Ciungu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, Scornicesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Ciungu to maneuver through the defense. Felix Eremia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Paul Pintea made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Alexiu in the 96th minute of play forced Scornicesti's goalkeeper Cristian Moisil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
