POLI TIMISOARA were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Colorado Avalanche's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filip Buculeasa took the corner. In the 17th minute of the match, Bogdan Jurăscu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mihai Domuță was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. POLI TIMISOARA's Jarbas Prestes was substituted for 梅亦希. After 62 played minutes Colorado Avalanche got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Tătaru. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Jurăscu in the 66th minute of play forced POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes, Filip Buculeasa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POLI TIMISOARA and the Colorado Avalanche players grew even worse after the yellow card.
