Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cazimir Adomniței got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute of the match Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca got a corner. Minerul Baia Mare's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mihai Lucrețiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's Daniel Burdea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Calistrat Pascaru in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nicolae Enoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Cazimir Adomniței put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nistor Isăilă. After 15th play minutes Cazimir Adomniței shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Nistor Isăilă and just under the crossbar into goal. Nistor Isăilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Oniga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Minerul Baia Mare's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Toader Pânzariu in the 19th minute. Cristinel Iurea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Pascaru having to interfere. Cazimir Adomniței took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Isăilă. Nistor Isăilă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Toader Oniga's late challenge caught a Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toader Oniga helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Minerul Baia Mare got a freekick which was hit by Toader Oniga. If Cazimir Adomniței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nistor Isăilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Adomniței, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calistrat Pascaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Iurea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes of play, Minerul Baia Mare's Cazimir Adomniței made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nistor Isăilă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristinel Iurea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nae Beniuc to strike the kick off in the second half. Calistrat Pascaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Enoiu in the 51st minute of play. Nae Beniuc took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calistrat Pascaru. Calistrat Pascaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Cristinel Iurea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Pascaru having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Minerul Baia Mare's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Enoiu came free, but Calistrat Pascaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Cristinel Iurea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Pascaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toader Oniga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Nistor Isăilă made a huge save. Nae Beniuc hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Nicolae Enoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Calistrat Pascaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Toader Oniga sped through Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nistor Isăilă. Gabriel Troncotă kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Nicolae Enoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Pascaru having to interfere. In the 78th minute Nae Beniuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Pascaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cazimir Adomniței who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Nistor Isăilă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Toader Oniga kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Nae Beniuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristinel Iurea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calistrat Pascaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Nistor Isăilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Oniga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 94 in the game by Cazimir Adomniței from a close distance when the talented Nistor Isăilă managed to make a qualified save. Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's players were relieved. In the 95th minute Andrés Silvera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Isăilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Minerul Baia Mare were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca side.
