Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gavril Bucur started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Werner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Hampus Lindgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Joost Werner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Valer Neicu came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Robert Ţugui. But to his dismay, Robert Ţugui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gavril Bucur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Valer Neicu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, MINERUL BALAN's Valer Neicu got control of the ball when Filip Tăcutu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when MINERUL BALAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hampus Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip Tăcutu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Valer Neicu made a huge save. In the 27th minute Liviu Baștină shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Joost Werner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, MINERUL BALAN's Claudiu Encioiu got a free kick in the 28th minute. Valer Neicu made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Sergiu Panaitescu sent off a good shot on target. Valer Neicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Bucur in the 35th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Valer Neicu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Filip Tăcutu had several of the MINERUL BALAN's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Valer Neicu as he didn't even see the shot coming. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilian Apolzan made a kick off. Valer Neicu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Tăcutu's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Ţugui in the 55th minute of play forced MINERUL BALAN's goalkeeper Valer Neicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when MINERUL BALAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Abraham didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Radu Rada broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Valer Neicu came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Gavril Bucur. But to his dismay, Gavril Bucur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The audience was convinced that Gavril Bucur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valer Neicu was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The supporters of MINERUL BALAN booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esdras Negro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Bărbătescu in the 71st minute of play forced MINERUL BALAN's goalkeeper Valer Neicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Filip Tăcutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valer Neicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valer Neicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Bărbătescu in the 73rd minute of play. Gavril Bucur struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Valer Neicu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C Ａ R D I N Ａ L. Valer Neicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Tăcutu in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, MINERUL BALAN's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Tăcutu came free, but Valer Neicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Robert Ţugui nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valer Neicu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 85th minute Robert Ţugui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valer Neicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gavril Bucur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valer Neicu was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Cazimir Bărbătescu took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valer Neicu. Valer Neicu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After 93 played minutes MINERUL BALAN got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Lindgren. 94 minutes into the game, Robert Ţugui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Valer Neicu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
