In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO PLOIESTI's goalkeeper Marcos-Evangelista Didarov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Bălanescu to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Valentim. Leontin Omescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valer Cioculescu in the 52nd minute. The supporters of DINAMO PLOIESTI booed when PARTIZAN Baia Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position.
