An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Cârstea in the 22nd minute of play forced Coltan FC's goalkeeper Ferdinand Emilianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Gheorghe Mihele who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carp Team's Deyan Tătăruşanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferdinand Emilianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Šiljak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gheorghe Mihele to make the kick off. If Modesto Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Mihele's late challenge caught a Carp Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gheorghe Mihele helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Coltan FC's Gheorghe Mihele got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ferdinand Emilianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Cârstea in the 54th minute. Deyan Tătăruşanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Mihele in the 62nd minute of play. Carp Team's Rareș Elian was substituted for Otto Veispak. Coltan FC's Robert Moșoiu was substituted for Gheorghe Mihele. The Coltan FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Carp Team's performance. The match ended with a win for Carp Team.
