In the 11th minute, The Owls's Gino Galante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 17 minutes in the game, Ubarna Harroyo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Codruț Răchită having to interfere. Pompiliu Jucu charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pompiliu Jucu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute Gino Galante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Răchită saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes LIVERPOOL FC got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Zbuchea. William Creemers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Codruț Răchită read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Traian Blidaru during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

LIVERPOOL FC made a substitution. Gavril Ţintă replaced Iurie Maniu. Codruț Răchită came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by The Owls's Gino Galante. But to his dismay, Gino Galante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 59 minutes into the game, Gino Galante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Codruț Răchită was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 minutes, Gino Galante made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. LIVERPOOL FC's Codruț Răchită tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gino Galante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute Gino Galante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Răchită saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Gino Galante put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Codruț Răchită. In the 88th minute, Gino Galante made a precise shot to the right of Codruț Răchită. LIVERPOOL FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. The LIVERPOOL FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codruț Răchită should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gino Galante in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Codruț Răchită prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
