Tiberiu Siniştean made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, FC Viitorul Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Cândreanu came free, but Tiberiu Siniştean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiberiu Siniştean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Cândreanu in the 10th minute of play. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Iulian Pietreanu sped through FC Viitorul Buzau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiberiu Siniştean. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Wilson Arósio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiberiu Siniştean in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gong Jun Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Boc in the 25th minute of play. When FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Wilson Arósio in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 51stth minute of the game Manole Domuță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Gong Jun Feng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Nechifor Blajovici came free, but Gong Jun Feng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octav Boc kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, FC Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Tiberiu Siniştean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson Arósio. Tiberiu Siniştean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Pietreanu in the 77th minute of the match. Tiberiu Siniştean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Pietreanu in the 78th minute of play. Orçun Yalınalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Viitorul Buzau's Ovidiu Dragu was substituted for Iordache Augustin. 88 minutes into the match, Wilson Arósio notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of FC Viitorul Buzau's Tiberiu Siniştean. Tiberiu Siniştean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiberiu Siniştean made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Iulian Pietreanu sent off a good shot on target. Orçun Yalınalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tiberiu Siniştean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiberiu Siniştean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iulian Pietreanu's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Iulian Pietreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiberiu Siniştean. FC Viitorul Buzau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iulian Pietreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. The FC Viitorul Buzau supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's performance. The match ended with a win for FC UNIREA Alba Iulia.
