With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vali Piersic in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Sosa saved FC Inter Sibiu from getting behind. In the 7th minute Adam Ciocâlteu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Ciocâlteu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. FC Inter Sibiu were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after OLIVER ATHLETIC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dragoş Bitang took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Inter Sibiu's corner Dragoş Bitang fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zelimir Girardelli quite easily take care of the ball. Stelian Vătavu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Sosa having to interfere. Sebastián Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Ciocâlteu in the 16th minute of the match. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Gică Costandache advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-1 in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Ciocâlteu came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. OLIVER ATHLETIC's Zelimir Girardelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Melis in the 41st minute of play. In the 47th minute FC Inter Sibiu were awarded a corner. Dragoş Bitang went to the cornerflag to take it. Dragoş Bitang made a great header on FC Inter Sibiu's corner, it was just that OLIVER ATHLETIC's Zelimir Girardelli managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Sebastián Sosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLIVER ATHLETIC.
