The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Sântimbrean got free with Tiberiu Siniştean in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joachim Boffin hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Tiberiu Siniştean made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Tudor Sântimbrean sent off a good shot on target. Tudor Sântimbrean might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiberiu Siniştean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tudor Sântimbrean ran back to his position shaking his head. Tudor Sântimbrean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Tiberiu Siniştean made a huge save. The supporters of F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- booed when FC Viitorul Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Boc didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Augustin Albu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tiberiu Siniştean but with some difficulty. Tiberiu Siniştean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Sântimbrean in the 20th minute of the match. Emilian Ciolpan took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Bungeanu. Sebastian Bungeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cosmin Bujor kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samet Mert in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiberiu Siniştean saved FC Viitorul Buzau from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augustin Albu during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Albu to maneuver through the defense. Tudor Sântimbrean who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Tiberiu Siniştean when he managed to save the team from getting behind. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after FC Viitorul Buzau's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augustin Albu took the corner. In the 42nd minute Tudor Sântimbrean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Siniştean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samet Mert in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Tiberiu Siniştean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Sebastian Bungeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nechifor Blajovici in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tudor Sântimbrean to make the kick off. The F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- fans' excitement grew in the 50th match minute when F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Tudor Sântimbrean looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 55 minutes into the match, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Tudor Sântimbrean sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiberiu Siniştean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tudor Sântimbrean in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiberiu Siniştean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiberiu Siniştean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Sântimbrean in the 57th minute of play. Tiberiu Siniştean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Sântimbrean, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, FC Viitorul Buzau's Gilberto Viviano got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Viitorul Buzau's zone, Samet Mert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiberiu Siniştean came out of the goal and Samet Mert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiberiu Siniştean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samet Mert in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes FC Viitorul Buzau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augustin Albu who took care of the corner kick. Sebastian Bungeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Viviano in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Samet Mert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiberiu Siniştean. FC Viitorul Buzau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samet Mert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. FC Viitorul Buzau made a substitution. Ovidiu Dragu replaced Iordache Augustin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samet Mert in the 87th minute of play forced FC Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Tiberiu Siniştean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nechifor Blajovici charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nechifor Blajovici the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nechifor Blajovici hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Samet Mert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiberiu Siniştean. FC Viitorul Buzau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samet Mert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
