Stelian Butuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Floricel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwo Tamulewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ben Hoes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Raphaël Varane made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dacians Academy's Siluna Flores. 36 minutes into the game, Iwo Tamulewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ben Hoes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the game, Raphaël Varane threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dacians Academy's Remus Armeanca quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Dacians Academy booed when ProRapid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Kilstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Iwo Tamulewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 minutes of play, Dacians Academy's Iwo Tamulewicz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ben Hoes was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manole Anghel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stelian Butuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Kilstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Xavi Popescu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ben Hoes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Tamulewicz's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Raphaël Varane made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mugurel Jumancă. Iwo Tamulewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Ben Hoes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ben Hoes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Tamulewicz's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Iwo Tamulewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ben Hoes having to make a save. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Dacians Academy's goalkeeper Stelian Butuc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dacians Academy's Siluna Flores managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raphaël Varane in the 95 minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dacians Academy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
